Cinnamon Rolls

In the Signature Style of Chef Shah Meer

1. Definition

Cinnamon Rolls are soft, fluffy sweet rolls made from enriched yeast dough, filled with butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon, then baked until golden and topped with sweet vanilla icing.

It is defined by:
Soft and airy texture
Swirled cinnamon sugar layers
Buttery rich flavor
Warm, comforting aroma
Smooth sweet icing on top

In the philosophy of Chef Shah Meer, perfect Cinnamon Rolls must be pillowy soft inside, slightly golden outside, and generously coated with creamy icing while still warm.

2. History

Cinnamon Rolls originated in Northern Europe, particularly Sweden, where they are known as “Kanelbullar.” Over time, they became extremely popular in North America and worldwide.

Today, they are a beloved bakery classic served in cafés, breakfast tables, and dessert menus across the globe.
